junior week 9/22 - 9/26
most of my time this week was spent making a website to provide some instructions on using hugo for when the sophomores eventually have to create their own websites
this is the website if anyone was wondering
it's just a simple template in which the sophomores can populate the everything else, and edit it if they wanted. i also provided guides on using hugo, and some hugo specific cases to help them in case they have any problems
home page that i created.

about page.

and the blog page.

i may create another tutorial for doing it on windows (as i decided to make it in linux because 1. it's easier on linux and 2. we don't have admin perms on windows) so i may come back to this
another project?
mr. christy told me one day that we have a bunch of kb2040's, and we needed to do something with them
i decided to take a look into it, as he mentioned that it's for keyboards, which is something i'm quite passionate about.

it's main use case is for custom keyboards, such as macro pads or numpads and stuff like that. however, i wanna make something bigger if i do decide to use it
i have a very ambitious plan of creating an entire custom keyboard from scratch (maybe not the entire thing as the case would be hard to get), but the pcb would have to be custom to use the kb2040
datasheet of one of my favorite keyboard cases (i think i could probably make this. most likely not out of aluminum though)
i'll have to see if our pcb mills are even capable of creating a pcb for a custom keyboard, and i'll have to create the entire pcb as well.
for now however, i want to continue with my seven seg display project, and get that finished before starting anything else. the pcb is a disaster, but i'll have to do it eventually.
